Life can be a fulfilling, exciting experience. But there are also the times when it throws us a curve ball. When we feel like the rug has been pulled out from under us. Or when things just don’t feel right, but we can’t quite put our finger on it.

We all experience difficult periods, challenges and struggles in our lives. Some are sudden, others may be more of a slow burn. Whilst it’s common to experience feelings of being lost, directionless or stuck, perhaps even despair, it’s not OK to feel like there will never be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sometimes we could all do with a helping hand. To feel like there’s something a little more solid beneath our feet, so that we can pull ourselves back up and get to the other side.

As a therapist, that’s where I come in.

There are lots of different reasons why people come to therapy, but, more often than not, in my experience it’s because they need something to change, or help to get things moving, and in the direction that’s right for them.

“The world breaks everyone, and afterward, many are strong at the broken places.”

— Ernest Hemingway
